Gary, IN – Calumet Township Trustee, Kimberly K. Robinson, operates an emergency shelter and will have relief supplies available for anyone impacted by the recent flooding in NW Indiana at the Calumet Township Trustee Multi-Purpose Center (MPC). There are sleeping quarters, kitchen and laundry facilities on site, as well as donated relief supplies. If you are unable to get to the shelter but still need help, please call 219-718-2301.

Clean-up kits will be available for pick-up on Saturday, March 3rd from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

If members of the community want to donate household items to aid in the recovery and clean-up efforts, donation bins are available at the locations listed below.
