Calumet Township Trustee's Office
Recycling Program

We want to
thank
everyone who participated
in our September 1, 2010 Recycling Informational Table and
Raffle.
Congratulations to Valeria
Hughes, winner of the $25.00 Target Gift Card and
Joyce Sease-Reese and Ella-Marie Lewis who
won a Paper Retriever Recycling Bag.
We hope everyone
learned how important it is to recycle paper and aluminum
cans.
Recycling one ton of paper
saves 17 Trees, 380 Gallons of Oil and 7,000 Gallons of
Water.
It takes energy to make
aluminum from scratch. The energy you save by
recycling a single aluminum can will run a TV for three
hours. Just think about how we together could make our
community a better place to live.
On Monday, November 15th,
2010 we will be celebrating
“America
Recycles
Day!”
Watch for further details!
